How do I create new products/items?

You have two simple ways to add new products to your Kassenheld system: bulk import via a file or manual individual creation.

1. 🚀 Import products via file (bulk import)

This method is ideal if you want to create many items at once.

• Open the Kassenheld Console on your PC or mobile phone (in your browser) at https://console.kassenheld.de/.
• In the left-hand menu, navigate to the "Products" tab.
• At the top left, click the "Import" tab.
• Upload your PDF or Excel file.
• Click "Continue" and allow the system to process the file. The status will show "Processing" while this is happening. Note: This step may take several minutes.
• Once processing is complete, all products will be displayed in a preview. You can edit the products here already or postpone this step until later.
• Scroll all the way down and click "Start import" at the bottom right.
• The system will now begin creating the products. Scroll back up to follow the progress indicator.
• Once the progress indicator is complete, click back on "Products" to view the final created items.

2. ✨ Create products manually (individual creation)

If you only want to add individual items or make changes quickly:

• Open the Kassenheld Console on your PC or mobile phone.
• In the left-hand menu, navigate to the "Products" tab.
• Click the "New" button at the top right.
• Complete the required fields (e.g. name, price, VAT rate) and save the item.
